Obituary of Charles Kilb

Schenectady - Charles M. Kilb, 97, formerly of 21st Street, passed away Tuesday, August 28,2012, at Glendale Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady, he began as an aprentice for the former ALCO, then as a quality assurance specialist for the Watervliet Arsenal, retiring in 1982. Charles was the husband of the late Dorothy Harris Kilb, who passed away in 1991. He is survived by two sons, Charles G. Kilb of Queensbury and Richard Kilb of SC and two daughters, Alice Clare of Glenville and Carolyn Berg of TN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 12:00 pm at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St. An hour of visitation will precede the service, from 11:00 to 12:00. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
