Obituary of Margaret Korkosz

Margaret Korkosz, 95, formerly of Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center and Union St., passed away October 22, 2009 at Ellis Hospital, after a long illness. Margaret was born in Troy, NY, the daughter of Alexander and Catherine Wallace. She was a receptionist for her husband, Dr. August Korkosz, for many years. He died in 1995. Margaret is survived by her son, Dr. John A. (Lorion) Korkosz; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was predeceased by a son, Mark Korkosz. Funeral will be private at the convenience of the family from the Daly Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. Burial at Albany Rural Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Schenectady ARC, 214 State St., Schenectady, NY 12305 or Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center, 1101 Nott St., Schenectady, NY 12308.
