Catherine Kretschmer Bourdeau, 94, most recently of Forest Hills, MD, and formerly of Delamont Ave., Schenectady, passed away October 6, 2009, at the Forest Hills Rehabilitation Center in Maryland. Born in Schenectady, Catherine lived most of her life in the city. She was educated in Schenectady schools. Catherine was a member of St. Joseph's Church. Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Albert A. Bourdeau, who passed away in September of 1986. Survivors include two children, Raymond (Carole) Bourdeau and Lawrence (Donna) Bourdeau; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral on Monday morning at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, State St., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The interment will take place Tuesday due to holiday. Calling hours Sunday 4 to 6 p.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. Burial will take place Tuesday morning, October 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church. Arrangements are by the Daly Funeral Home.
