Obituary of Regina Barbeau

Regina Barbeau SchenectadyRegina M. Barbeau, 86, passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 at Ellis Hospital. Regina was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late Chester and Mary (Kaczmarczyk) Penichter and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School, where she was a member of the water ballet and worked for General Electric for 22 years. Regina loved to travel, especially with the GE Women's Club. She was always a good athlete, playing tennis throughout her life. Regina was predeceased by her husband, Raoul Barbeau who passed away in 1983. She is survived by her son, Paul Barbeau; granddaughter, Adrienne Moss; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be Friday 8:15 a.m. from Daly Funeral Home 242 McClellan St., Schenectady then to St. Luke's Catholic Church 1235 State St., Schenectady where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
