Obituary of Christopher Kuban

Christopher P. Kuban, 45, of Fourth St., died Saturday, November 20, 2010 unexpectedly at Ellis Hospital. Christopher was born in Schenectady, the son of David and Barbara Taylor Kuban. He was a graduate of Linton High School and graduated with honors from Fulton Montgomery Community College. His passion in life was cooking for family and friends at social gatherings. Chris was an accomplished musician and an avid Yankees and Giants fan. He is survived by a son, Alex Kuban (and his mother, Lynn Knowlton); his mother, Barbara Kuban; three siblings, Michael (Lisa) Kuban, twin sister, Carolyn (Mark) Kuban-Conlow, and Daniel (Tracy) Kuban; dearest companion, Cathy Bongermino; nieces and nephews, Camellia, Nadia, Ella, Delaney, Nicholas; and beloved dog, Casey. Chris was predeceased by his father, David Kuban. Funeral service, Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, and 9:30 a.m. at St. Helen's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
