Obituary of Alice LaPorte

Alice D. LaPorte, 84, died Friday, July 2, 2010, at Ellis Hospital, after a short illness. Mrs. LaPorte was born in Constable and graduated from Nott Terrace High School. She had worked through the area for several businesses in the Capital region. She had been a longtime communicant of St. Luke's Church. Alice is survived by her son, Michael (Pierce) LaPorte of Santa Fe, NM; a brother, J. Maurice (Flora) Thibodeau of Port Charlotte, FL; and nieces. Funeral service Monday morning, 9 a.m., at St. Luke's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
