Obituary of Gloria Lavare

Gloria J. Lavare, 61, of Orchard St., died Friday, February 25, 2011, at Ellis Hospital, after a long illness. Gloria was born and educated in Malone, the daughter of Cleon and Emma Rust. She moved many years ago to Schenectady, moved back to Malone for several years before moving back to Schenectady. She was the beloved wife of David Lavare, they married in 1967. Gloria is also survived by a son, Danny Lavare; grandchildren, Nicholas, Carmella, Raymond Jr., Jessie and Dakota; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Cameron, and Jonathon; brothers, James, Robert, Doug and Donald; and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her. Gloria was predeceased by a son, David Lee Lavare and grandson, Joseph Hosier. Her family will share remembrances at their residence on Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. Arrangements by the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
