Dorothy F. Lungreen On Monday, March 23, 2009, Dorothy F. Lungreen, 83, formerly of Pricilla Lane and Lake Drive, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her son's home. Born in Schenectady she was a lifelong area resident. Dorothy was the youngest of 11 children. Dorothy worked in the drafting department for the General Electric Co. for a number of years, then as a bank teller for the City & County Savings Bank and finally as a dispatcher for the Rotterdam Police Dept. She was married for 59 years during which she along with her husband, Rudy cared for 115 foster children and two adopted children. She was a member of the Christ Child Society and St. Joseph's Church. Wife of Rudolph Lungreen, whom she married in 1950; mother of Joseph Lungreen of Rotterdam. Funeral service, Friday, 8:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. and 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
