Obituary of Dorothy Lupka

Scotia - Dorothy R. Lupka, 88, formerly of Vista Dr., died Monday, June 4, 2012, at the Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center. Dorothy was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Louis and Maria Mary Lupka and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. She worked for New York State Department of Taxation as a senior clerk for many years before retiring in 1983. She was a former member of the St. Clare's Choraliers and a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. She is survived by a sister, Regina Knain; niece and nephews, Patricia Little and Dale Knain; several cousins; a grandniece and nephew; and dear friends and caregivers. Funeral service Wednesday morning 9:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church (Rt. 50 Glenville) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
