I believe this gentleman was an electrician in the US Navy serving on submarines. He was my first navy instructor at Great Lakes in 1961 and he was good. I remember at Christmas in 1961 riding with home with him as I lived in Naugatuck.

My deepest sympathies to the family, I worked with Charles over the last 6mo. Despite all he had been through he always had a positive attitude and would come in with a smile on his face. He always made us laugh. I know how important his family was to him, please know he is looking down on all of you with a great big smile. Please let us know here at PT Associates if there is anything we can do to help at this difficult time.

Although he is gone, the memories that we have will always stay with us. I loved being able to go to him with something I didn't know and he would have the answer. We all went to him for that! And his skills with movie trivia was a true passion in our conversations and I could just sit and talk for hours about this actor and that movie. I think I'll miss that the most. When he was in the hospital, a nurse came into the room and he proudly introduced me to her as his daughter. I was so honored to have him feel that way about me. We will miss him so very much.
