Obituary of Barry Battiste

Niskayuna - Barry Battiste, age 49, of Niskayuna died suddenly on Monday, June 4, 2012 at his home. A lifelong Niskayuna resident, Barry graduated from Niskayuna High School. He was the son of the late Dominick and Margaret (Peggy) Battiste. He is survived by his daughter, Roxanne Battiste Stanton (Michael); sisters, Mary Ann Montgomery (Thomas) and Michele Kordrupel (Robert); brothers, Paul Battiste (Linda), Joseph Battiste (Judy), David Battiste (Cynthia) and many nieces and nephews. Barry was predeceased by his brother, Mark (Erika Battiste Bedor). Barry worked in the food service industry for many years and had many friends and acquaintances. Calling hours will be at the Daly Funeral Home in Schenectady on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna on Saturday at 10 a.m. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the American Heart Association in Barry's name.
