Obituary of Dolores Nebolini

Dolores "Dedi" Caschera Nebolini, 56, of Parkwood Blvd., entered into her eternal rest, Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Ellis Hospital. Dedi's family and friends were very fortunate and blessed to be with her when she passed away. Dedi was born in Schenectady on January 29, 1953, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Julia Zampella Caschera. She was educated in Schenectady and graduated from the former Linton High School, class of 1971. A truly loving and caring woman who possessed a huge heart, Dedi devoted her life to being a homemaker. Dedi is survived by her longtime companion, J. Andrew McMahon of Schenectady; her loving siblings, Pasquale Caschera, Jr. of Schenectady, Beverly Guido and her husband, Mike of Schenectady, Catherine "Cappy" Caschera of Scotia, Marie Sampson and her husband, Larry of Clifton Park, Grace LaSala and her husband, Robert of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Nancy Cote and her husband, Larry of Rotterdam, Michael Caschera and his wife, Debbie of Glenville, Laura Caschera and her husband, Ken Peacock of Centerville, OH, and Lorraine Seber of Schenectady; also survived by many nieces and nephews; and her treasured dog, Gaia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Union Street. Dedi's friend, Rev. Jack Varno, will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. Calling hours will be held privately for the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Dedi's name to St. John the Evangelist Church, 816 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308 or to Rev. Jack Varno's parish, Our Lady of Grace, 73 Midline Rd., Ballston Lake, NY 12019.
