John M."Jack" Noonan, 77, of Brandywine Ave. in Schenectady, NY, passed peacefully on a sunny Tuesday morning, February 2, 2010 after a long illness. Jack was born on November 22, 1932 at home in Watervliet, NY. He was an altar boy at St. Nicholas Church and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1950. Jack then entered the apprentice program at General Electric in Schenectady where he had a 39-year career as a draftsman and manager. Jack is survived by his beloved and dedicated wife of 56 years, Lois P. Noonan; six loving children, Karen (Robert) Marks, Linda (Eugene) Leary, Mary (Lawerence) Isenberg, Daniel (Katina) Noonan, Christopher (Shari) Noonan, John (Lisa) Noonan and 12 beautiful grandchlidren, Sean, Tessa, Julia, Elissa, Taylor, Alexandra, Katie, Anna, John, Callie, Olivia and Jenna. Jack was a dedicated husband and father. To all his many lifelong friends and family he will be remembered for his energy, razor sharp sense of humor and most of all his ability to make everyone laugh. He was truly a well rounded man with many interests including woodworking, golf, reading and gardening. Jack thoroughly enjoyed life. His passing will leave us all with countless stories and wonderful memories. Funeral services, Saturday morning at 8:15 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home located at 242 McClellan St. and 9 o'clock at St. John the Evangelist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial service will be celebrated. Calling hours, Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Oakwood Ave. in Troy.
