Obituary of Paula O'Donnell

Scotia - Paula O'Donnell, 54, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Paula was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late John and Norma Roode and was a lifelong area resident. Paula worked at Campbell Plastics, Brandywine Diner and most recently Visiting Nurses of Schenectady. Paula was a warm and very loving person who was always taking care of everyone in her family. She was very fashionable and loved shopping for herself and for others. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond O'Donnell. She is survived by her children, Christina (Peter) Velinov, Lisa O'Donnell, Jacob O'Donnell and Amber (Stephen) Ackerman; grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Elisia, Jacob, Joshua, Gabrielle, Stephen, Ryan and Blake; great-grandchildren, Chassidy and Aaden; sister, Regina Enos; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank all of her wonderful friends and caregivers for their love and support over the many years of Paula's illness. The funeral service will be Wednesday, 12 noon at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service Wednesday from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
