Obituary of Daniel Pettis

Schenectady - Daniel V. Pettis, 25, of Summit Ave., died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Ellis Hospital. Danny was born in Schenectady, he was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves behind his mother, JoAnn M. (Michael) Weddle; his father, William H. Pettis; a brother, Billy (Kristen McLean) Pettis; a sister, JoMarie (Shawn Pigeon) Pettis and grandmother, JoMarie Tompkins. The joy of his life was his nieces and nephews, who never went a day without seeing him. They were all his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed by them, Shawn Jr., Ella, Logan, Annabella, Alex, Dexter and Isabelle. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Maria, whom he dearly loved; and his loving companion and loyal dog, Lady. A calling hour will be held Monday morning, 10 to 11 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., followed by a graveside service at Vale Cemetery.
