Pauline T. Pollock, 90, of Daisy Ln., died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at St. Peter's Hospital, after a short illness. Pauline was born and educated in New York City, the daughter of Michael and Kathryn Merwa. In 1946, she met her husband, Roy, at the Blythewood on Lake George, later moving to Schenectady after she married Roy in 1948. She was a homemaker, she will also be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. She had been a longtime communicant of St. Luke's Church. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roy Pollock. Pauline is also survived by two children, Michelle Pollock of Bolton Landing, and Michael (Diane) Pollock of Rotterdam; a brother and sister, Walter Medwa of Schenectady, and Gloria Doener of E. Islip; a grandson, Michael Thompson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ruth Anne Pollock. Funeral service, Friday morning, 9 a.m., at St. Luke's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment, Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
