"Jean" Potter, 85, of Bradford Road, died Friday, December 25, 2009, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Jean was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Florindo and Rachel Stanco D'Onofrio. She had attended Schenectady schools, at one time worked for the General Electric Co., and for many years worked for Campbell Plastic Co., retiring in 1989. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Francis Potter. He died in 1973. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Terry Hunt. Mrs. Potter is survived by three children, Robert (Susanne) Potter of Las Vegas, Stephen Potter of Schenectady, Sandra (Thomas) Guthan of Schenectady; a son-in-law, Roy Hunt of Strafford, VA; a sister and brother, Jennie Saglimbeni of Rotterdam and Stephen A. Donofrio of Princetown; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Wednesday afternoon, 12:15 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours, Tuesday evening 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
