Obituary of Joan Provost

Schenectady - Joan A. Provost, 84, of Hillside Ave., Niskayuna, formerly of Brandywine Ave., Schenectady, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at home. Joan was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Glen and Margaret Liberty and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. At one time she worked at General Electric. Throughout the years, she enjoyed her summers at Lake George with family and friends. She had been a longtime communicant of St. Luke's Church and the church choir. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Richard G. Provost, in 2007. She is survived by four children, Holly Pajak, Rochele Shelly Denisoff, Randy (Julie) Provost and Melissa Miller; three grandchildren, Haley Denisoff, Glen Provost and Jonna Miller, and nieces and nephews. Funeral service Saturday morning 8:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 9 a.m. at St. Luke's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
