Obituary of Rosa Pugliese

On Friday, March 13, 2009, Rosa Pugliese, 87, formerly of Lafayette St., passed away at Ellis Hospital. Born in Dolgeville, NY, she was a graduate of Dolgeville High School and Albany Busisness College. Rosa worked for the General Electric Co. as an executive secretary for 45 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, the GE Woman's Club, its Quarter Century Club and the Annie Schaeffer Senior Citizens Center. Rosa was an avid bridge player who loved to travel. Funeral service Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. from Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., and 9:30 at St. John the Evangelist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John the Evangelist Church Restoration Fund, 816 Union St.
