Obituary of Kenneth Rexford

Kenneth V. Rexford, 70, passed away peacefully at Strong Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, Ken was a superintendent for the Division of Military Affairs in East Greenbush for 37 years before retiring in 1992. He served in the United States Army and Air Force, as well as the Air National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Gaul Rexford, whom he married in 1961; a son, George Rexford; and his wife, Anna; a daughter, Lisa Rexford; grandchildren, Teresa Rexford and Kenneth V. Rexford II, all of Schenectady; a brother, Gary Rexford wife, Germaine of Altamont; a sister, Kim Rexford; brother-in-law, Julian Gaul wife, Ann of Delaware. Ken was predeceased by a sister, Janice Kazmierczak. Funeral service Saturday morning 8:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. and 9 at St. John the Evangelist Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Friday evening 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment, St. John the Baptist Cemetery
