Robert Robare, 65, passed away suddenly on March 31, 2011. He was a graduate of Bishop Gibbons High School and Albany Business College. He also served in the U.S. Navy. Robert was an avid bowler who loved to travel. He lived most of his life in the Albany, Schenectady area. He worked in retail for over 20 years, owner and operator of a local restaurant and bar establishment and sales at Goldstein Buick. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia King (David) of NC and Dawn Hall of Schenectady; four nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews. He was a loving son, devoted and caring brother, and a wonderful friend to many. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 3, 5 o'clock at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. An hour of visitation will precede the service Friday from 4 to 5.
