Obituary of Jennie Saglimbeni

Jennie M. Saglimbeni, died at the age of 96 on April 2, 2011, at home with her daughters by her side. Jennie worked for many years as a stenographer for the N.Y.S. Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany. She was a graduate of Mildred Elley Business School in Albany. One of her favorite things was to play the piano, which she played by ear. Jennie also performed in a women's orchestra in Albany. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Saglimbeni; and sisters, Beatrice Ryan, Inglanata Potter, and Mildred Del Torto. Survivors include her three daughters, who love her with all their hearts, Beatrice Saglimbeni of Schenectady, Margaret (Lewis) DeMeo of Rotterdam, and Deborah (Bruce) Auspelmyer of Glenville; brother, Stephen Donofrio of Arizona; four grandchildren whom she thought the world of, Rachele (Mike) Seburn of Scotia, Cara DeMeo of Rotterdam, Michael DeMeo of East Haven, CT, Scott (Kim) Auspelmyer of Glenville; great grandchildren, Anthony Auspelmyer, Joshua Seburn, Danielle Seburn, Nicholas Auspelmyer, and Mia DeMeo Jones. Funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Jennie's name to the American Lung Association in NY, 700 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, NY 11788. "May you rest in peace Mother. We'll be looking up.
