Obituary of Lynn Shafer

Lynn M. Shafer - Schenectady Lynn M. Shafer, 52, died Sunday, January 29, 2012, unexpectedly. Lynn was born in Schenectady, the daughter of John and Margaret Williams, and was a graduate of Schenectady schools. For many years, she was a secretary at Stratton VA Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Shafer; a daughter, Erica Marshall; two sisters, Karen Taylor, and Anne Rose; two grandchildren, Shataysia McGill, and Damier Harrison; longtime companion, Lance Marshall; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services, Friday afternoon, 3:30 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service from 2:30 to 3:30 at the funeral home.
