My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time. I have lived for 48(give or take a few) of my 52 years on Cresse Avenue and have many wonderful memories of your parents. I would run into your Dad at Peter Pause or somewhere in the neighborhood and we would chat briefly about the neighborhood and how I was trying to restore Steinmetz Park back to the way it used to be when we were kids. It saddens me to know that he won't be around to see them start the 1st phase this Spring but I'll always remember him telling me "Don't let them tear down that wall they don't make them like they used to" and as long as I have some say they won't. RIP Mr Sofia (It was hard to call him Don when I got older)
Nancy, Susan & Donna; So sorry for the loss of your Dad. He lived a long & very prosperous life, blessed with a loving family & friends; all of whom will miss him dearly. Lots of love & prayers to all.
Heather & Ben Knowing how much you loved your grandfather and his picture of you and him in your cube dancing. When coming to work and looking over at the Tersian House and remembering him that he help build that beautiful place. So sorry for your loss and the first year of firsts without him....... Cherish the memories.
