Clifton Park - Maureen E. Stuart, 72, of Algonquin Rd, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at home. Maureen was born in Niskayuna, the daughter of John and Margaret Kiernan. She was a graduate of Linton High School, class of 1958, attended Junior College of Albany and was a passenger relations representative for American Airlines for 35 years, retiring in 1995. Later, she worked part time at Stockade Travel for several years. She was married to her beloved husband, Bruce A. Stuart. They were married for 26 years at the time of his death in 2000. She is survived by two sisters, Judith N. Kiernan and Kathleen G. Kiernan, both of Niskayuna; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and in-laws, Sharon Kiernan and Henry and Sharon Palmer. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Mairid and a brother, James Kiernan. Funeral service, Wednesday morning 10:00, at St. Luke's Church, 1241 State St., Schenectady, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 7 Washington Sq., Albany, NY 12205 or Sisters of the Resurrection, 35 Boltwood Ave., Castleton, NY 12033.
