Marjorie Kathleen Sullivan, 90, died peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Marjorie was born in London, England, daughter of Harold and Beatrice Clark. She came to the United States in 1946 and settled in Potsdam, NY. She worked numerous jobs but her favorite was telephone sales for Time Life Magazines in Rochester, NY. She moved to Schenectady in 1995, to be close to her daughter. Marjorie was predeceased by her former husband, Basil V Sullivan and her brother, Ronald. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Schofield and her husband, Peter of Niskayuna and a grandson, Thomas Schofield of NYC. Funeral service Wednesday, 8 p.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street. An hour of visitation will precede the service Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Interment private. Marjorie's family would like to thank the staff at the Avenue Nursing Home, Ellis Hospital (4th floor "C" wing) and Community Hospice of Schenectady for the love and care they showed Marjorie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street.
