James (JT) Thomas, 57, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Ellis Hospital. Son of Louis Thomas and the late Elois Thomas, he was born in Greensboro, NC. JT is survived by his wife, Rachael Thomas, six children, Tonia, Mia, James Jr., Ashley and Marquan Thomas and Christopher Johnson, two brothers, Robert and Louis Jr, all of Schenectady; and a sister, Shirley Morris of Greensboro, NC. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 12 o'clock at Refreshing Springs Cogic, 327 Henrietta Dix Plaza, Schenectady. There will be no calling hours and interment will be private. Arrangements by the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St.
