Schenectady- Nola C. Thomas, 47, of Pennsylvania Ave., passed away Friday, Jan. 6 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Trinidad, she was a medical billing specialist for Best Systems in Albany. Survived by her parents, Lester and Cynthia Thomas; siblings, Michael, Noel, Carol, Lynn and Lydia Thomas; two aunts, Margaret and Umilpa; and her best friend, Nancy Lopez and her family, Pookie, Lisa, Michelle and Ruban. Funeral service Wednesday afternoon 1 at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. A calling hour will precede the service Wednesday 12 to 1. Interment, Vale Cemetery. Special thanks to Ellis Hospital and its Neurological Center, especially Dr. Phillip Marra and William Owens.
