ROTTERDAM- Marjorie Tourville, 89, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Ellis Hospital. Marjorie was born June 6, 1920 in Chateaugay, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Fayette. She was raised and educated in Chateaugay and was a graduate of Chateaugay High School. Marjorie was employed by Sears Roebuck & Company in Schenectady as a credit manager for many years. For ten years she and her husband, Carl, volunteered at Ellis Hospital. Survivors include her children, Thomas T. Tourville of Schenectady, Richard S. Tourville of Amsterdam, and Betsy (Raymond) Harrington of Cobleskill; grandchildren, Jeffery, Gregory, Errin, Jason, and Elizabeth; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Carl G. Tourville, whom she married May 16, 1942, and her siblings. Funeral service will be held Monday at 8:30 am from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, then to St. Paul the Apostle Church, Albany Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am. Entombment will follow in Memory's Garden, Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Sunday from 3 to 5 pm.
