Eleanor V. Blesser, 92, formerly of Santa Ln., passed away peacefully Saturday, July 3, 2010, at the Dutch Manor Nursing Home, after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, Eleanor was a lifelong area resident who enjoyed gardening very much. She was a past member of St. Gabriel's Church. Wife of the late Donald G. Blesser. She is survived by three children, Bonnie Burdette, Donald T. Blesser, and David Blesser; six brothers and sisters, Martin, Dorothy, James, Herbert, Robert, and Donald Faboskay. Also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Eleanor was predeceased by two grandchildren. Funeral service Friday, 11 a.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. Interment, Schenectady Memorial Park, Rotterdam. Calling hours, 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday eve at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady.
