Obituary of Raymond Vogel

Raymond G. Vogel, 70, of Alplaus N.Y. passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 9th 2012 at Ellis Hospital. He was born in Schenectady N.Y. to the son of the late Rhien Vogel Sr. and Elizabeth Bunk Vogel, also pre-deceased by brother, Robert Vogel. Ray is also survived by his brother Rhien (Gloria) Vogel of Clifton Park; Children Renee (Michael) Mertens of Ballston Spa NY, Karl (Barbara) Vogel of Wyanantskill NY, Kevin (Melinda) Vogel of Mechanicville NY, as well as seven grandchildren. He also leaves behind companion Irma Brown and beloved canine Willie. Ray served honorably in the US Air Force from 1960-1964. He was employed as a HVAC/R installer for 39 years and retired in 2003 from Eastern Refrigeration. Ray was an avid hunter and sportsman with many "trophies" to showcase. Funeral Service Monday morning 11:00 at the Daly Funeral home 242 McClellan St. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday Afternoon 5-7 at the funeral home.
