Dear Sandra, I was saddened to hear of Bill's death last Tuesday. For the short time that I worked with him, when I was in Bruce Martin's office on State Street, he treated me very well. I had just taken my Bar Exam in July, 1976 and was waiting to hear until the following February, that I had passed. Bill helped me out so many times during my first days as a lawyer, and always with patience & kindness. He was a true gentleman of the law and I was honored to have known him. My condolences to you.
