John Welsh Obituary
John C. Welsh, 56, of Wills Dr., New Hartford, formerly of Schenectady, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica, after a long illness. John was born in Schenectady, the son of Chester and Mary McNelly Welsh. He moved to New Hartford nine years ago, where he worked at the ARC Arnold Avenue Workshop. He is survived by three brothers and a sister, Michael Welsh, Rosemary Welsh, Gerald Welsh and Matthew Welsh; and several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Alane Welsh. Funeral service Thursday, 12 noon, at St. Luke's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to the ARC Oneida Lewis Chapter, Arnold Ave. Center, 14 Arnold Ave., Utica, NY 13502. Arrangements are by the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
