Obituary of Frances Williams

Frances J. Williams, 73, of Erie St., died Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Ellis Hospital, unexpectedly. Frances was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Leon and Florence Audi Kimble. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, had worked at Trustco Bank as a teller at the Mont Pleasant branch and had worked in security at Coburg Village. She will also be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Fran is survived by her husband of 31 years, Roger Williams. She is also survived by three children, Heather (Peter) McGrath, Christopher (Dana) O'Connor, and Francis (Lynn) O'Connor; one brother, Leon (Joan) Kimble; and six grandchildren, Joseph, Patrick, Amanda, Marissa, Briana and Cole O'Connor; cousins, niece and nephews. Funeral service Wednesday afternoon, 1:30 p.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will be held from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3 Winner's Circle, Albany, NY 12205.
