Obituary of Ronald Witkowski

Glenville - Ronald V. Witkowski, 47, of Valleywood Dr., died Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Joan Nicole Prince House in Scotia. Ron was born in Schenectady, the son of Ronald and Ruth Witkowski. He was a graduate of Bishop Gibbon-Notre Dame High School and Schenectady County Community College. He was in the grocery business for many years having worked at Casa Imports of Utica and Price Rite as a buyer. He also owned and operated The Sportscard Center. He followed his father's foot steps working with the Daly family at the Daly Funeral Home. Ron was an avid bowler, had a passion for golf and loved family gatherings. He will always be remembered for his dry sense of humor. Through the years he was a communicant of St. Luke's Church. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Melissa Pasquariello Witkowski; three children, Andrew, Becky and Katie; his father and mother-in-law, Ron and Dale Pasquariello of Broadalbin; and brother and sisters-in-laws. Funeral service, Saturday morning, 8:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 9 at St. Luke's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling, Friday afternoon, 4 to 8 in the evening at the funeral home. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
