Shane E. Musk, 23, of Rotterdam Junction, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013. Born June 26, 1989, in Warwick, RI. He was the beloved son of Samantha Cleveland and Everett Musk. Shane is survived by his parents; stepparents, Kevin Cleveland and Sarah Jacobson; his brothers, Gregory Musk, Aidan Cleveland, Luke Musk and Donald Cleveland; and his sisters, Kaiya Musk and Ashley Cleveland; his grandparents, Maureen (Mima) Merry, Clarence (Bob) Merry, Ann (Nana) Musk and Maureen (Grandma) Cleveland; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Clarence (Papa) Musk and Charles Cleveland; and his cousin, Jonathan Edwards Gibbons. Shane was an athlete and always felt the most comfortable on either the baseball diamond, the soccer field or the basketball court, with baseball being his all time favorite sport. He was a remarkable young man that will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, aggression and his love of family. Funeral service Tuesday morning, 9 at St. Luke's Church, 1241 State St., Schenectady, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Monday afternoon 4 to 8 in the evening at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Schalmont Central School District to the Athletic Assoc. on behalf of Shane (for the baseball and soccer programs), 4 Sabre Dr., Schenectady, NY 12306.
