Obituary of Felecia Messineo

Ballston Lake - Felecia J. Messineo (Roscioli), age 81, of Ballston Lake, New York, entered into heaven on April 8, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 15, 1931 in Mont Pleasant, NY. Daughter of the late Matilda and Giovanni Roscioli; predeceased siblings, Rocco Roscioli, Elsie DeMasi, Angelina Reali, Louis Roscioli and Antoinette Bonczyk. Felecia graduated from Nott Terrace H.S. in 1949. On June 1, 1952 in Schenectady, NY, Felecia married Michael Angelo Messineo, Jr and resided on Cullen Ave. in Schenectady. Felecia worked for Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital as a cook and worked for Price Chopper as a food demonstrator for 20 years. Food was her specialty, also gardening with flowers and vegetables. Other hobbies were spent enjoying her loving grandchildren. Children, Claudia Brown (Harry), Leona Messineo (Lewis Clay), Michael A. Messineo (Patrice) and predeceased by son, Ronald Messineo; grandchildren, Harrison Brown (Stephanie), Jordan Brown, Michaela Brown, Brian Clay (Yvette), Ronald Messineo Clay, Brianna Clay, Nicholas Clay, Angelo Messineo and Gino Messineo; great-grandchild, Brian Clay Jr.; her joyful pet, Buttercup; host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning 10:15 at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., and 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, Ballston Lake.
