Obituary of Robert Wilson

Robert James Wilson Sr., 60, passed away in his sleep on June 7, 2013. Bob was born on December 27, 1952 to James A. and Marjory Wilson in Schenectady, NY where he was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of the former Linton High School and worked for 33 years as a maintenance engineer for The Schenectady City School District. Bob married his soulmate and light of his life Kim Williams-Wilson on September 19, 1976. Bob was predeceased in death by his two mothers, Marjory Fountain Wilson and Ginger Wilson, and his sister Maureen Wilson. Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Kim; daughter, Donna; two sons, Robert Jr. and his wife, Danielle, and James Sr. and his wife, Amie. It was Bob's great joy to watch his nine grandchildren grow, Derrick, Nessa, Steven, Tyler, James Jr., Aaron, Caylee, Emma and Samuel. The impact he had on his family's lives would be indescribable. He is their hero and anchor. He is also survived by his father, James A. Wilson; siblings, Sharon Fazio (Joe), Denise Kopacz (Joe) and Mark Wilson (Cheryl), as well as a host of extended family and loyal friends.
