Janet Bradley, 78, formerly of Rotterdam, died peacefully at home Wednesday morning, with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Mary (Winchip) Malone. She later moved to the Capital District and married her late husband, Walter E. Bradley. Janet was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her four grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Halek (Tom) of Schenectady; her sons, Robert (Karen) Bradley of Glenville and David (Krista) Bradley of Colonie, NY. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kristen, Brandyn, Katie and Christopher. She was predeceased by her infant son, Michael. Services will be held 9 o'clock Saturday morning, March 3rd at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church of Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday evening, March 2nd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, McClellan St. in Schenectady. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Stevens, Dr. Shailesh Patel and Dr. Goodman and the staff of Community Hospice of Schenectady for their excellent care. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Janet be made to The American Heart and Lung Association or Community Hospice.
