Obituary of Nancy Chylinski

Nancy J. Chylinski, 55, formerly of Palmer Ave. died Friday, August 16, 2013 at Ellis Hospital. Nancy was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Edmund and Anna Mueller Chylinski. She attended St. Coleman's School and had worked for many years at the Pine Ridge Industries until retirement a few years ago. Nancy was very active with the Association of Retarded Citizens activities, participated in Special Olympics and had been a communicant of the former St. Helen's Church where she volunteered in the nursery; she loved being with the little children every week. She is survived by five brothers and sisters, Edmund C. Chylinski, Jr. of West Chester, PA, Gary (Trinky) Chylinski of Syracuse, Susan (John) Magill of Schenectady, Mark (Terry) Chylinski of Pittsfield, MA, and Mary Anne Chylinski of Saratoga Springs; eight nieces and nephews, Father Keith, Erin, Adam, Sean, Kara, Katie, Krissy, and Brent; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Loving memories of her special friend, Gary Tryon, will be with her forever. Funeral service Wednesday morning at 8:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 9 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church (Union St.) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Tuesday evening 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph's Cemeery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to the Schenectady Association of Retarded Citizens, 243 State St., Schenectady, NY 12305
