Fern L. Leonard, 77, of Winston Pl. passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital Monday, August 19, 2013 after a brief illness. Born in Albany Fern was a lifelong area resident. Wife of the late William Leonard and sister of the late Richard Amsler. Survivors include three children, Sheree Orlando, Diane Rost and William Leonard II, all of Schenectady; a brother, Howard Amsler; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Thursday morning at 11 at Memory Gardens, Colonie
