Glenville - Helen A. Giannetti, 81, of Tryon St. died Saturday, September 21 2013, at Albany Medical Center. Helen was born in Scotia, the daughter of Dominick and Anna Vaiuso Gaudio. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. She devoted her life to her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma and was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Giannetti; they married in 1956, and he died in 1973. She is survived by three children, Ralph (Catherine) Giannetti of Attleboro, MA, Debbie Doyle, and Donna (Kevin) Gosier, all of Charlton; three grandchildren, Christina (Dave) Renoni, Matthew and Amanda (fiance Chris Gercke) Doyle; and great-grandson, Andrew. Helen was predeceased by siblings, Viola Ferrante, Catherine D'Ambrosio, Donato, Vincent and John Gaudio. Funeral service Friday morning at 8:45 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 9:30 at Immaculate Conception Church (Saratoga Rd., Glenville) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 7:45 to 8:45 at the funeral home. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205.
