It is only today that I learned of Sallies passing. As a volunteer Critical Care EMT, for the Cambridge Rescue Squad, I had many occasions to be with Sallie and came to know her quite well, on our long rides, to one hospital or another. While she could be handful at times, I came to understand and appreciate her, for the highly intelligent and insightful person that she was. We always got along well and I looked forward to caring for her in her numerous "hours of need" I knew the last time I saw her she was ready to pass, as she had clearly failed and she expressed her desire to let go "and be be done with it", as she said. This was unlike her, as she was always full of hope, no matter how grim her condition. I always got a kick out of her vitality and stubbornness and I will miss her. My condolences to her family and her friend Bruce at the Guest Home. Will Moses
