Obituary of Wilda Brothers

Schenectady - Wilda I. Brothers, 87, formerly of Pattersonville, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at The Avenue Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Wilda was born in Gloversville, the daughter of Walter and Zetta Osborne. She was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a hardworking wife and mother working in several retail stores including The Big N and The Carl Company. She was a former member of Home Bureau. Wilda was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Brothers, in 1988. She is survived by two children, Michael Brothers and Melodie (Joe) Howarth; a sister, Ernestine Wait; three grandchildren, April Miller, Jessica Wilcox, and Stephen Alexander; three great-grandchildren, Bradley, Elizabeth and Sandra; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Irene King, Stella O'Neil, Marvin, Roy, Vernon and Elton Osborne. Funeral service, Tuesday 11 a.m. at the Woestina Cemetery, Pattersonville. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
