Obituary of Marguerite Farry

Schenectady - Marguerite "Peggy" H. Farry, 86, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Front St. died Friday, February 14, 2014 in Myrtle Beach, with her family by her side. Peggy was born in Schenectady on January 21, 1928, the daughter of Timothy and Ann Regan Connelly. At one time she worked at the General Electric Co. and retired from the State of New York, as a Schenectady City Court Clerk. She retired several years ago. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a woman of great faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl B. Farry who died in 2000. Peggy is survived by two children, Timothy (Deborah) Farry of Scotia and Suzanne Millett (Michael Louis) of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister, Marie D. Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren: Jennifer, Jason and Joshua (Victoria) Farry; two great-grandchildren: Connor and Sean; several nieces and nephews and her wonderful caregivers: Harriet Bishop, Cindy Mozyck, Kim Sinkly and Beacon Hospice. Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 8:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, NY and 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
