Obituary of Stephen Hutchins

Stephen W. Hutchins, 54, of Van Vranken Ave., died Friday, March 7, 2014, suddenly at Ellis Hospital. Stephen was born and educated in Schenectady and was the son of Edward and Alice Hutchins. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Through the years he worked in construction around the Schenectady area. Stevie will be remembered for the love of his cats and dogs, listening to country music and being a big fan of the Yankees and Redskins. He is survived by a son, Stephen W. Hutchins, U.S. Army and seven brothers and sisters, Bill, Dan, John, Stevie's twin brother, Bo (Bob), Tricia, Sharon and Mary; four grandchildren, Makayla, Derek, Mileena and Josiah. He was prededeased by his brother, Tom. Funeral service and burial at a time later to be announced. Calling hours Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
