Obituary of Michelle Houlihan Buono

Schenectady - After a long, courageous battle with breast cancer, Michelle Houlihan Buono, who was born December 15, 1962, passed away leaving behind her loving family and friends, on March 9, 2014. Michelle loved music with a passion and thoroughly enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a ready laugh and huge heart. She worked in the music industry at Trans World Entertainment Corporation and also as a medical secretary at Capital Care in Schenectady, NY. She moved to Alabama a few years ago and enjoyed so many new people and the company of her wonderful sons and daughter-in-law. She will be missed by all who ever met her. She is survived by her son, John Buono, Jr. and April Buono of Alexander City AL; her son, Daniel Garrow of Palm Bay, FL; also her brother, Frank and Mary Houlihan of Schenectady, NY; her sister Mary Burns Houlihan of Amarillo, TX; her sister, Peggy Houlihan Bielecki of Schenectady, NY; her brother, Jamie Houlihan of Pittsfield, MA; her brother, David Stapleton of California and her loving nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, John F. Houlihan of Schenectady, NY and her mother, Dolores Szumiloski Houlihan of Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, NY from 1:00 to 3:00 pm with a Memorial Service starting at 3:00 pm.
