Pablo: I was sorry to hear the news of your mom's passing, but how fortunate that you and J were with her at the time. I only knew her briefly in college, but she truly had the gift of hospitality when I was visiting. She is part of that greatest generation that went through so much to pave the way for us baby boomers. I recall you mentioning that she was in a nursing home in Ballston Spa, so perhaps her days were not so good and that she has been released. Even at 65 it is tough to loose a parent-there is something permanent in it, but you have good memories to recall and give you that smile and remembrance of safety, protection and contentment in your mother's caring arms. Please pass on my sampathiies to your sister in this time that is sad for her as that mother daughter relationship is so special. Hope to see you and the crows, Lord willing, in October. Paul P-
