Schenectady - James Richard Hill, 64, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Jim was known by his peers as an intellectual. He was very interested in the sciences, and had an extensive book collection. He was a very loving soul, and will be missed by his family and others. He is survived by his loving sister, Nancy Hill; other family members and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will be in Vale Cemetery.
