Schenectady - Michael J. Burke, 62, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Michael was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on July 31, 1950, the son of the late Jersey City Fire Chief, Michael J. Burke and Loretta (Higgins) Burke. He had been a 25 year resident of Schenectady. He is survived by his sister, Maureen and brother-in-law, Jerome Killeen. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will precede the service from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Treatment Center, PO Box 470, Saranac Lake, NY 12983.
